Big Boy Náutica is a nautical school based in the Balearic Islands, specializing in practical training and exam preparation for leisure and advanced nautical qualifications. We offer courses for the Leisure Vessel Skipper (PER) and training oriented to the Yacht Skipper / Captain. The PER course is designed for the handling of vessels up to 15 meters in length and navigation up to 12 miles from the coast. Requirements: be over 18 years old, pass a theoretical multiple-choice test, and complete 12 hours of radiocommunications practices and 16 hours of navigation practices. The price is €150 and includes access to the online platform, the course book, nautical charts, and angle transporter for chart exercises. We also provide training for qualifications that allow the handling of vessels up to 24 meters and navigate between the Balearic Islands and the peninsula. Our programs combine theory, directed practices, and local knowledge, ideal for preparing for exam calls (2025 in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza) and for safe navigation through coves and island routes.
